Amari Omaoeng, Graphic Designer/Artist
Amari is a junior at New Tech @ Coppell. They work as an artist at The Newcomer and enjoys making pieces such as comics, detailed illustrations, and animations. While they do have a range of styles, they gravitate towards bright colors, a mix between Western cartoons and anime, and cute things.
They also serve as a marketer and programmer in FTC. They enjoy drawing, writing, gaming, and singing karaoke with their brother and friends. Their current favorite singers are vFlower and Hatsune Miku (who are vocaloids and not human singers).
Their favorite food is adobo and beef stew.
Amanda Laranja, Graphic Designer/Staff Writer
Amanda is a Junior and a writer for The Newcomer. She is the secretary for NTH@C’s Hope Squad and a Tour Ambassador for New Tech. She enjoys volunteering where she can. She also is an involved member in Yearbook and G.R.O.W club. In her free time, she mainly spends it fangirling over random obsessions and gaming, but also cooks and does art. In terms of her favorite food, it would be anything Mexican or Italian. As a former band kid, she loves orchestral and instrumental music but still has a varied taste and will listen to practically anything.
