Ishaana is a sophomore at New Tech and a writer for The Newcomer. She loves writing about a variety of topics, and, outside of articles, loves writing short fiction and scripts.

She participates in extracurriculars such as choir, DECA, and MUN, and is a frequent volunteer for the Dallas Holocaust Museum. Outside of school, she is passionate about singing, photography, reading, swimming, and watching movies and TV. Currently, she loves The Good Place and is listening through the entire soundtrack for Hadestown. She is also attempting (unsuccessfully) to read The Stormlight Archive past the first sentence. 

Although she doesn’t have a favorite food, Oreos and anything chocolate are fair game.
